Manual removal

Manual removal equipment

How it works

Small instruments, such as a wax hook, probe or forceps, are used to remove wax while the clinician watches the ear canal.

What to expect

Keep your head still during treatment and tell James if you need to stop. Careful examination and positioning matter because instruments can injure the canal or eardrum.

Your home visit

James brings the equipment, checks your ears and explains the suitable options before treatment. Your visit includes an ear health check, treatment where appropriate, a recheck and aftercare advice.

£75 for one or both ears. Pay after your visit.
