Ear wax removal at home, across Maidstone and mid-Kent.
A mobile ear care service run by an NHS-trained clinician. Microsuction, water irrigation and manual removal — carried out safely in your own front room, with full clinic equipment brought to your door.
Three removal methods, one visit
Your clinician examines both ears first and chooses the method that suits your ear canal and history on the day — you are not locked into one technique before we arrive.
Microsuction
A fine sterile suction probe lifts wax out under magnification. Dry, precise, and suitable for most ears including perforations and grommets.
Learn more →Water irrigation
Low-pressure pulses of warmed water flush softened wax away. The modern, pressure-controlled successor to old-fashioned ear syringing.
Learn more →Manual removal
Jobson Horne probes, crocodile forceps and loops used under direct vision for wax sitting close to the entrance of the canal.

A full ear health check, every appointment
-
1
History and symptoms
A short questionnaire covering hearing, past infections, surgery, perforations and any medication.
-
2
Otoscope examination
A clear look at the canal and eardrum before anything is touched, so the right method is chosen for your ears.
-
3
Treatment and re-check
Wax removed, both ears re-examined, and aftercare advice given. Anything of concern is written up for your GP.
Signs your ears may need clearing
Wax build-up is harmless but uncomfortable. If any of these sound familiar, a single visit usually resolves them.
Blocked or muffled hearing
Sound feels distant or underwater, often in one ear more than the other.
Earache or pressure
A dull ache or feeling of fullness caused by wax pressing against the canal wall.
Ringing or buzzing
Tinnitus that appears or worsens when wax builds up against the eardrum.
Whistling hearing aids
Feedback and poor fit are often the first sign that wax is obstructing the canal.
If you have sudden hearing loss, severe pain, discharge or bleeding from the ear, contact your GP or NHS 111 before booking a wax removal appointment.

A specialist ear care service, not a sideline
Ear Wax Removal Expert is a mobile clinic covering Maidstone and mid-Kent. Ear care is all we do.
Who treats you
Your appointment is carried out by an NHS-trained clinician who holds an enhanced DBS check and full professional indemnity and public liability insurance. The same person answers the phone, arrives at your door and follows up afterwards — there is no call centre and no rotating staff.
Why home visits
GP surgeries across Kent stopped routinely offering wax removal years ago, and the nearest high-street clinics mean a drive into town, parking and a wait. A home visit removes all of that. Everything needed — magnification, suction unit, irrigation pump, sterile single-use tips — comes in the case.
Standards and safety
Single-use consumables on every patient, equipment decontaminated between visits, and clear referral routes: if an examination shows an infection, perforation, foreign body or anything outside the scope of wax removal, treatment stops and you are advised to see your GP, with a written summary if you want one.
